Vyapar vs Accountune vs MyBillBook: which is best for an Indian small shop in 2026? For most Indian small shops, Accountune is the best billing software of the three on value. Accountune runs on web, Android and iOS from one paid plan starting at ₹799 a year, with a free plan at ₹0 to start on. Vyapar and MyBillBook both keep their entry tier on Android alone, so cross-platform access costs more with either. All three produce GST invoices, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, inventory and udhaar tracking. The real separation is platform coverage at entry level and how early the compliance tools unlock.
- Accountune is the best value for a small Indian shop: web, Android and iOS on one plan from ₹799 a year, with a free plan at ₹0
- Vyapar runs fully offline, but stays Android and Windows only, with no iOS or browser access at its entry tier
- MyBillBook offers a low Android-only starting tier, but browser and iPhone access sit on higher plans, and it retired offline mode in 2025
- Accountune is the only one of the three that is cloud-first by design across all three platforms, so the same live data opens at the counter, at home and at your CA’s office
- E-invoicing and CA remote access are available on Accountune’s paid plans without waiting for a top-tier upgrade
- Accountune gives a 4-day full-access free trial with no credit card, so you can bill real customers before deciding
- Accountune pricing starts at a free plan at ₹0 and paid plans from ₹799 per year, billed annually.
- Accountune runs on web browsers, Android and iOS with the same live data on one login. Accountune is cloud-only and does not bill offline; an internet connection is required.
- Accountune has been GST-compliant since 2017 and serves 12,000+ Indian small businesses. India’s GST slabs since 22 September 2025 are 0%, 5%, 18% and 40%; the 12% and 28% slabs no longer exist.
- Accountune supports migration from Vyapar, MyBillBook, Tally, Marg, BUSY and Zoho through Excel or CSV import.
Ravi runs a hardware store in Nagpur. Eight hundred SKUs across nuts, bolts, paint and electricals. Last Diwali week his counter saw 142 customers on a single Saturday, all billed on a four-year-old desktop with no mobile access and no backup. On Sunday morning the hard drive failed. Three days of invoices gone. His CA charged him to reconstruct GSTR-1 from supplier records, and two regular customers refused to pay because he could not show duplicate bills.
His problem was not the crash. His problem was that his billing lived in one box on one counter.
Across India, lakhs of shop owners are weighing the same decision Ravi now faces. The three names that keep surfacing in shopkeeper WhatsApp groups and CA recommendations are Vyapar, MyBillBook and Accountune. All three are built in India, all three serve the same broad audience of kirana, medical, hardware, garment, electronics and wholesale businesses, and none of them charges what legacy desktop software charges.
This GST billing software comparison covers what each one actually does, which shop each one fits, and where each one runs out of road. If you are searching for the best billing software for a small shop in India, the short answer is that Accountune fits the widest range of them, and the rest of this page shows the working.
How we compared these three
A billing software comparison is only useful if you know what was measured and what was left out. Here is the method behind this page.
What we tested. The daily jobs an Indian shop actually does: raising a GST invoice at a busy counter, keeping inventory accurate against sales and purchases, tracking udhaar and chasing payment, and handing clean data to a CA at month end. Feature checklists were treated as claims, not proof.
What we used as sources. Each vendor's own public documentation and pricing pages for their product details, CBIC and GSTN notifications for anything compliance-related, and aggregated onboarding patterns from Accountune's 12,000+ Indian small business customers for the workflow observations.
What we deliberately did not do. We did not rank the three on a single score, because a kirana counter and a garment wholesaler need different things. We did not reproduce competitor plan-by-plan pricing, because Indian billing software pricing changes several times a year and a stale number is worse than no number. Check current prices on each vendor's own pricing page before you buy.
Who wrote this. Accountune builds one of the three products compared here. That is stated openly rather than hidden, and where a competitor genuinely does something Accountune does not, this page says so plainly.

What each software is
What is Vyapar?
Vyapar is a GST billing and accounting app built primarily for Android phones and Windows desktop. Its one genuine differentiator is a full offline mode that keeps working without internet and syncs when the connection returns, though that comes bundled with a platform ceiling: the entry tier is Android-primary, with iPhone and browser access sitting outside it.
Vyapar is worth a look for an Android-only shop in an area with regular internet outages, provided the owner does not need iPhone access, browser access or a CA login on day one.
What is MyBillBook?
MyBillBook is a GST billing and accounting product built by FloBiz for small Indian retailers and service businesses. Its entry tier is priced low, but that plan generates and shares bills on Android alone, and the plans that add browser plus iPhone access, desktop apps, godown management and e-invoicing sit progressively higher up the ladder. It also retired its offline mode when it moved to a cloud-only architecture in 2025.
MyBillBook can suit a shop that wants a cheap Android-only starting point and is comfortable paying to upgrade later for the things most shops need within the first year.
What is Accountune?
Accountune is cloud-based GST billing, inventory and accounting software built in India for small businesses. It runs on web browsers, Android and iOS, all three on the same paid plan, with a free plan at ₹0 to start on and paid plans from ₹799 a year.
It handles GST billing, inventory tracking, accounts, WhatsApp payment reminders, CA remote access, e-invoicing and business reports from one place.
Accountune has been GST-compliant since 2017 and serves 12,000+ Indian small businesses across kirana, medical, hardware, electronics, garment and wholesale.
Accountune is the strongest fit for a shop that wants full cross-platform cloud access at the lowest entry price, and the honest exception is a shop in a genuinely offline location, where a cloud product is the wrong tool.
Side-by-side capability comparison
This table compares what each product does, not what each plan costs. Plan tiers move; capability moves slowly.
Capability | Accountune | Vyapar | MyBillBook |
|---|---|---|---|
Platform at entry tier | Web + Android + iOS | Android primary | Android only |
Architecture | Cloud-only, live sync across devices | Offline-capable, syncs on reconnect | Cloud-only since 2025 |
GST invoicing (CGST/SGST/IGST) | Automatic from customer GSTIN | Yes | Yes |
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data | Auto-generated from billing | Yes | Yes |
HSN code handling | Set once per item, applied automatically | Per product | Per product |
Inventory, single location | Yes, updates against sales and purchases | Yes | Yes |
Inventory, multi-location | Paid plan | Higher tier | Higher tier |
Udhaar tracking | Yes, party-wise ledger | Yes | Yes |
WhatsApp payment reminders | Automatic at set intervals | Available | Available |
E-invoicing (IRN) | Paid plan | Higher tier or add-on | Top tier |
E-way bill generation | Paid plan | Yes | Yes |
CA remote access | Paid plan, separate login | Not at entry tier | Higher tier |
Mobile apps | Android and iOS | Android primary | Android and iOS on higher plans |
Desktop | Runs in any browser, nothing to install | Windows app | Desktop apps on upper tier |
Offline billing | Not available, cloud-only | Full offline | Not available since 2025 |
Free trial | 4 days, full access, no card | Available | Available |
Verdict | Best value for most Indian small shops: widest platform coverage at the lowest entry price | Narrow fit: only for genuinely offline locations | Narrow fit: only for an Android-only start with a planned upgrade |
What each one costs
Accountune. A free plan at ₹0, and paid plans from ₹799 a year, billed annually. Every paid plan includes GST billing, inventory, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, WhatsApp invoice sharing, cloud backup and access on web, Android and iOS. E-invoicing, e-way bills, GSTR-2B reconciliation, bank reconciliation, CA remote access and multi-location inventory sit on the paid tiers. Current plan-by-plan detail is on the Accountune pricing page. The 4-day free trial needs no credit card.
Vyapar and MyBillBook. Both publish plan pricing on their own sites, and both revise it through the year. Rather than reprint numbers that may already be out of date by the time you read this, the practical guidance is structural and does not change: with either product, the advertised entry price buys Android access, and the plan that adds browser plus iPhone access is a meaningfully higher tier. Price the plan you will actually need in month three, not the headline plan.
That structural point is the one worth carrying into your decision. A shop comparing headline prices across all three is not comparing the same thing, because Accountune's entry paid plan already includes what the other two sell as an upgrade.
Which software fits which shop
Most of the value in a GST billing software comparison sits here, not in the feature table. Rather than name a single universal winner, this is which product suits which kind of Indian business, and why.
All three options on this page are subscription-priced, which makes them easy to compare directly. A perpetual licence sits in a different shape, with a large upfront figure and a smaller annual renewal that is easy to overlook at purchase time. If a one-time licence is also on your shortlist, read our note on Tally's lifetime licence and its renewal costs before you compare the two on price alone.
Your business | Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
Kirana or general store, one counter | Accountune | Fast counter billing, udhaar ledger and daily reports on phone and browser together. See Kirana Store Billing Software. |
Medical store or pharmacy | Accountune | Batch and expiry tracking with alerts, plus correct GST on medicines. See Medical Store Billing Software. |
Hardware or electricals, high SKU count | Accountune | Item categories, barcode support and low-stock alerts across hundreds of SKUs. See Hardware Store Billing Software. |
Garment or footwear shop | Accountune | Size and colour variants, and correct handling of the apparel price threshold under current GST slabs. See Garment Store Billing Software. |
Wholesaler or distributor | Accountune | Per-buyer price lists, credit limits, IGST and e-way bills. See GST Billing Software for Wholesalers. |
Multi-counter retail or small chain | Accountune | Multi-user roles and multi-location inventory on paid plans. See Retail Billing Software. |
Shop with unreliable internet, Android only | Vyapar | The only one of the three that bills fully offline, accepting that iPhone and browser access are not included at that tier. |
Owner who wants the cheapest possible Android-only start | MyBillBook | Lowest advertised entry point, accepting that browser access, iPhone access and e-invoicing all arrive on higher plans. |
Currently on Tally and want to move to cloud | Accountune | Excel and CSV import with migration support. See Best Tally Alternative in India. |
Feature deep dive: what actually matters day to day
1. GST billing speed at the counter
GST invoicing is the most-used feature in any of these products. All three apply CGST, SGST and IGST automatically based on the customer's GSTIN. The practical difference shows up in how HSN codes are handled and how many keystrokes a bill takes when four customers are waiting.
Accountune assigns an HSN code and GST rate to each item the first time you add it. Every invoice after that picks the correct code without anyone thinking about it. For a medical store billing eighty products a day across the 0%, 5% and 18% slabs, that consistency removes most of the manual checking that otherwise happens right before GSTR-1 filing.
If you are still mapping codes to your item list, the free HSN Code Finder does that lookup, and the GST Calculator handles inclusive and exclusive amounts.
Vyapar bills on Android at the counter and on Windows at the back office. MyBillBook includes GSTR-1 and GSTR-2B reconciliation from its mid tier upward.
2. Platform access: mobile, desktop, browser
The platforms your shop actually uses shape the right answer more than any feature list does.
Vyapar runs primarily on Android with a Windows counterpart, and iPhone plus browser access sit outside the standard plan. If the owner carries an iPhone or wants to open sales from a laptop while travelling, that becomes a real constraint at the entry tier.
MyBillBook generates and shares bills on Android alone in its starting plan, with browser and iPhone access arriving on a higher plan and desktop apps higher still.
Accountune runs on web browsers, Android and iOS from its entry paid plan, with nothing to install and no separate tier for iPhone. That cross-platform coverage at entry pricing is the position Accountune holds in this comparison, and it is the single clearest reason most small Indian shops end up choosing it.
3. E-invoicing and IRN generation
E-invoicing is mandatory for Indian businesses with aggregate annual turnover above ₹5 crore. The threshold has come down in stages, reaching ₹5 crore on 1 August 2023 under Notification 10/2023-Central Tax.
To understand the latest turnover rules, read E-Invoicing Compulsory in India for Small Businesses (2026).
For most small shops below that turnover, e-invoicing is not currently required. For a shop growing towards it, having e-invoicing already in the product avoids a software change at exactly the moment you can least afford one.
Accountune includes e-invoicing on its paid plans without requiring a jump to the highest tier. On MyBillBook, e-invoicing sits on the top plan per the company's own e-invoicing documentation. On Vyapar it arrives through a higher tier or an add-on.
4. Inventory management
Stock tracking depth varies more than headline feature lists suggest.
Accountune handles single-location inventory from the entry paid plan, with stock moving automatically against sale and purchase entries and low-stock alerts firing by item.
If you want to understand inventory best practices, see Inventory Management for Small Business.
Multi-location inventory covering shop, godown and branch sits on a higher paid plan.
MyBillBook supports godown management from its upper-mid plan, with batch tracking available across mid tiers. Vyapar covers single-location inventory at entry level, with multi-godown capability on higher tiers.
For a hardware store with one storage room, all three handle the basics. For a garment shop carrying seasonal stock across colours and sizes, or a wholesaler running a godown alongside retail, which specific plan unlocks multi-location matters far more than whether the feature exists at all.
5. Udhaar and payment tracking
Udhaar sits at the centre of Indian small business billing. A kirana store with forty credit customers, a hardware store with monthly distributor payments, a garment wholesaler on thirty-day terms: every business that gives credit needs a workflow for it.
All three track customer-wise outstanding ledgers. The day-to-day difference is what happens after the ledger shows a balance.
Accountune sends automatic WhatsApp payment reminders at intervals you set, at seven, fifteen and thirty days overdue. The reminder carries the invoice number, the amount due and a payment link, so the owner does not have to make the call or compose the message.
If your business struggles with outstanding payments, read Udhaar Recovery & Outstanding Payments Guide.
That matters because the real reason Indian shop owners let udhaar age is not laziness, it is the awkwardness of asking a regular customer for money.
MyBillBook offers WhatsApp and SMS marketing features from its upper tier, with reminder workflows configurable across plans. Vyapar supports in-app and SMS-based reminders.
6. CA remote access
This feature gets less attention than billing speed and saves more time than any of them.
CA remote access means your chartered accountant logs in with their own credential, pulls GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data and prepares the filing, without you exporting files, emailing reports or carrying a pen drive to their office.
For a shop on monthly filing, that removes several hours every month from both sides.
Accountune includes CA remote access on its paid plans with a separate read-only login. MyBillBook includes a CA dashboard from its mid tier. Vyapar does not include a standardised CA dashboard at the entry tier.
Vyapar vs MyBillBook: which is better?
Plenty of shop owners shortlist these two first and compare Accountune later. If that is where you are, here is the straight answer, followed by the option most people miss.
Vyapar vs MyBillBook comes down to one question: do you need offline billing?
Vyapar is better if your shop loses internet often. It is the only one of the three here that keeps billing with no connection and syncs later, though that offline ability is tied to Android and Windows, with no iPhone or browser access at its entry tier.
MyBillBook is better if you are permanently online and want the cheapest Android-only starting point. It retired offline mode when it moved to a cloud-only architecture in 2025, so on connectivity the two are no longer comparable, and browser access, iPhone access and e-invoicing each sit on higher plans.
On everything else the two are closer than their marketing suggests. Both raise GST invoices, both produce GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, both track inventory and udhaar, and both put multi-location stock and e-invoicing on upper tiers. Neither includes browser plus iPhone access on the plan they advertise.
The option most shortlists miss. If you are asking "my bill book vs vyapar, which is better" because you want cloud billing that works on the counter PC and your phone, neither entry tier actually gives you that. Accountune does, from ₹799 a year, with a free plan at ₹0 to start on.
If you're also exploring alternatives beyond these two, see MyBillBook Alternatives and Best Tally Alternative in India.
That is the specific gap Accountune fills between these two, and it is why shops comparing Vyapar and MyBillBook often end up on a third product.
If you have already ruled both out and are looking at what else exists, the reason is usually the same: the plan that has what you need costs more than the plan you were quoted.
Vyapar vs Accountune, head to head
If you have narrowed the choice to these two, the decision comes down to one question: does your shop lose internet often enough that offline billing is worth giving up browser and iPhone access?
Choose Accountune if the answer is no, which it is for most shops in most towns. You get web, Android and iOS on one plan from ₹799 a year, live data that is the same on every device, automatic WhatsApp payment reminders, a CA login on paid plans, and nothing to install or update.
If you're moving from desktop software, read Cloud vs Desktop Accounting Software in India.
Accountune is the better value of the two for a shop that bills from more than one place.
Vyapar makes sense in the narrow case where power cuts or dead zones actually stop billing, and where the shop is content on Android and Windows. That is a genuine advantage and Accountune cannot match it, because Accountune is cloud-only by design.
One practical note for anyone moving across: Accountune imports customer and item data from a Vyapar Excel export, so the switch does not mean retyping your item list.
Accountune vs MyBillBook, head to head
Both are cloud products now, so the offline question does not apply here. This one comes down to what you get on the plan you actually start on.
Choose Accountune if you want browser and iPhone access from day one rather than as a later upgrade, e-invoicing and CA access without a top-tier jump, and a free plan at ₹0 plus paid plans from ₹799 a year.
If you're evaluating cloud billing solutions, see Best Invoice Software in India.
For a shop that will need multi-device access within the first few months, Accountune is the better value of the two.
MyBillBook makes sense if you genuinely only ever bill from one Android phone and want the lowest possible starting price, accepting that browser access, iPhone access, desktop apps and e-invoicing each sit on a higher plan.
The honest test is simple. Write down the features you will need six months from now, then price both products on the plan that includes them. That is the number that matters, not the headline.
How to switch without losing your data
Switching billing software feels riskier than it is. The steps are the same whichever product you are leaving.
Export your masters.
Customers, suppliers and item list with HSN codes, from your current software into Excel or CSV. This takes minutes in all three products.
Import into the new software.
Accountune imports items, parties and opening balances from Excel or CSV, and support helps with the mapping during the trial.
If you're migrating from Tally, follow How to Migrate from Tally to Cloud.
Set opening balances as at your cutover date.
Outstanding udhaar per party and closing stock per item.
Run both in parallel for a week.
Bill in the new system, keep the old one open as a reference. Most shops stop needing the old one after four or five days.
Cut over on the 1st of a month.
This keeps your GST data clean and gives your CA one complete month in one system.
Most shops complete the move in one to two days of part-time work. Do it in a slow week, not during a festival rush.
Getting started with Accountune
Sign up at accountune.com. Enter your business details and GSTIN to create the company. No credit card is required for the trial.

If you need help finding the correct code, use the HSN Code Finder.
Raise your first invoice. Pick the customer, scan or select the item, and the GST invoice is ready in seconds. Share it on WhatsApp straight from the billing screen.
If you're unsure about GST invoice requirements, read GST Invoice Rules 2026.
The trial runs 4 days with full access and no card. Start the free trial, or book a free demo if you would rather be walked through it.
What Indian shop owners tell us
These are representative examples drawn from aggregated Accountune onboarding patterns across similar businesses.
Hardware store, tier-2 city, 1,200+ SKUs.
Tracking stock across electricals, plumbing and paint by hand had become the owner's evening job. After moving stock onto Accountune, reorder alerts and automatic low-stock notifications were the two changes that actually altered the daily routine.
Learn more about Inventory Management for Small Business.
Kirana store, central India.
Udhaar lived in a notebook. Within the first month on Accountune's party ledger, the outstanding report surfaced dues the owner had genuinely forgotten about, in the range of a few thousand rupees per store, which is typical for a counter carrying forty-odd credit customers.
Read more about Billing Software with Udhaar Tracking.
Medical store, western India.
The move was driven by expiry write-offs, not by GST. Batch and expiry tracking shifted from a paper register to automatic item-level alerts, and near-expiry stock started moving before it became a loss.

The bottom line
Vyapar, MyBillBook and Accountune are all Indian-built billing software serving the same broad audience. None of them is a wrong choice in the abstract. They are built for different operating conditions.
If your shop genuinely cannot rely on internet, Vyapar is the only one of the three that bills fully offline, and that outweighs everything else in that situation.
If you will only ever bill from one Android phone and want the lowest starting price, MyBillBook's entry tier does that, as long as you accept what sits on higher plans.
For everyone else, which is most Indian small shops, Accountune is the best billing software of the three on value: web, Android and iOS together from ₹799 a year, a free plan at ₹0 to start on, e-invoicing and CA access on paid plans rather than at the top of the ladder, and 12,000+ Indian businesses already running on it.

General Questions
Is Accountune better than Vyapar for Indian small businesses?
For most Indian small businesses, yes. Accountune is priced lower (₹799/year vs ₹1,999/year for Vyapar), works on web browsers without installation, includes e-invoicing, and has built-in CA remote access — features Vyapar either does not have or charges extra for. Vyapar has an advantage in offline mode for areas with poor internet.
Which is cheaper — Vyapar, Accountune, or MyBillBook?
Accountune is the cheapest of the three, with a free plan at ₹0 and paid plans from ₹799 a year that already include web, Android and iOS together. Vyapar and MyBillBook both price their entry tier for Android alone, and the plan that adds browser plus iPhone access costs meaningfully more with either. Both revise their pricing through the year, so check the current figure on each vendor's own pricing page before you buy.
Choosing between the three
Which is the best billing software for a small shop in India in 2026?
For most Indian small shops, Accountune is the best billing software of the three compared here. It puts web, Android and iOS on one plan from ₹799 a year with a free plan at ₹0, where both Vyapar and MyBillBook keep their entry tier on Android alone. All three handle GST invoicing, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data and inventory competently, so the deciding factors are platform coverage and when compliance features unlock.
MyBillBook vs Vyapar, which is best?
It depends entirely on connectivity. Vyapar is best of those two if your shop loses internet, since it is the only one that bills fully offline, on Android and Windows. MyBillBook is best of those two if you are always online and want the cheapest Android-only start, as it has been cloud-only since 2025. If what you actually want is cloud billing on the counter PC and your phone together, neither entry tier includes it and Accountune does, from ₹799 a year.
Vyapar or MyBillBook, which is better?
They solve different problems. Vyapar is the only one with full offline billing, limited to Android and Windows. MyBillBook is cloud-only since 2025 with a cheaper Android-only entry tier. For a shop that wants cloud access on browser, Android and iPhone together at the lowest price, Accountune is the better answer than either.
Which one has the most customers in India?
MyBillBook and Vyapar both publicly state figures above one crore users or downloads. Accountune serves 12,000+ verified Indian small businesses. Stated downloads and verified active businesses measure different things. The more useful question is which product fits your counter, not which has the biggest number on its homepage.
GST and compliance
Which software automatically generates GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reports?
All three generate GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data from your billing. The difference is in how much correction is needed first. Accountune fixes the HSN code and GST rate to each item when you create it, so the same code applies on every invoice and there is less to reconcile before filing.
What are the GST slabs in 2026?
India’s GST slabs since 22 September 2025 are 0%, 5%, 18% and 40%. The 12% and 28% slabs were removed. Any billing software or rate list still showing 12% or 28% is out of date, which is worth checking on whichever product you choose.
Does Accountune support e-invoicing and IRN generation?
Yes, on Accountune’s paid plans. When you create a B2B invoice, Accountune sends it to the portal, receives the IRN and prints it on the invoice, with no separate portal login.
Is e-invoicing mandatory for my shop?
E-invoicing is mandatory for businesses with aggregate annual turnover above ₹5 crore, effective 1 August 2023 under Notification 10/2023-Central Tax. Below that threshold it is not currently required, though choosing software that already has it avoids a migration later.
Does Accountune handle CGST, SGST and IGST correctly on interstate sales?
Yes. Accountune reads the customer’s GSTIN, works out whether the sale is intra-state or inter-state, and applies CGST plus SGST or IGST automatically. Nothing is selected by hand.
Which of these works without internet?
Vyapar has a full offline mode on Android and Windows. Accountune is cloud-only and needs an internet connection. MyBillBook moved to cloud-only in 2025 and no longer bills offline. If your location loses connectivity regularly, Vyapar is the only option here that keeps working.
Do I need to install Accountune on my computer?
No. Accountune runs in Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. Log in and start billing. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
Can more than one person use Accountune at the same time?
Yes, on paid plans. Each staff member gets a separate login with role-based access, so billing staff see what they need and the owner sees everything.
Pricing, trial and switching
What does Accountune cost?
Accountune has a free plan at ₹0 and paid plans from ₹799 per year, billed annually. Every paid plan includes GST billing, inventory, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, WhatsApp invoice sharing, cloud backup and access on web, Android and iOS. Current plan detail is on the pricing page.
Can I switch from Vyapar or MyBillBook to Accountune?
Yes. Export your customers and items to Excel or CSV from your current software and import them into Accountune. Support helps with the mapping during the trial. Most shops finish the move in one to two days, and cutting over on the 1st of a month keeps GST data clean.
How long does setting up actually take?
Creating the company takes a few minutes. Importing an existing item and customer list takes under an hour for most shops. Entering items by hand from scratch takes about half a minute each, so a two-hundred-item shop is roughly a two-hour job spread over a day.
